We provide a wide range of charitable initiatives and services.
What we do
We regularly sponsor young children and adults, based mainly in Northern India, as well as donating to emergency causes all over the World, including the UK!
The Nunnery in Ladakh.
Ladakh is one of the highest places in the world and boasts of the highest road in the world. The girls are given free education but need support for all their other needs!
Sakya Choephling, Institute of Higher Buddhist Studies, in Rimbick.
Sakya Choephling is high up in the mountains. Rimbick is a village near the India-Nepal border in India. We help with clothes and other basic needs since 2005.
Sakya Kunga Shedup Ling Monastery, Kurseong, Darjeeling
We have also supported Sakya Kunga Shedup Ling Monastery since 2005. They similarly are way up in the mountains and need winter clothing amongst other items.
The Nunnery in Dehradun.
Although the girls recieve an education and support locally, some of the poorest children need help with stationary, books and sanitary items as have no family who can provide for them. Since 2016.
Other Initiatives
We regularly teach free meditation classes across the UK.
Give away 2nd hand childrens clothes and toys.
Prepare and deliver basic gift bags to the homeless in London.
Recently helped a mother and 2 daughters, in emergency housing, with their food shopping and other basic needs. Based in Reading.
Sponsor children in Nepal and India with their school fees.
- 2004-5: The Aurora Children’s village near Galle, Tsunami Appeal, Sri Lanka.
- 2005-15: Financial support for Tibetan Children’s village and Handicraft Centre, Mcleod Gange, Dharamsala, India.
- 2007 - 2008:
- Fundraising for Tangyud Gonpa Primary School Campus, Kazza (Spiti), India.
- Donations raised for IBA Kathmandu, Nepal.
- Support for Kalinpo building a New School, India.
- Donations for Pal E Wam Namgyal School in Mustang, India.
- 2008: Supporting children with Aids, Africa.
- 2010: Earthquake appeal, China.
- 2010: Ambulance for Sakya Hospital, Dehradun, India.
- 2011: Vehicle for Nunnery, India.
- 2012: Renovation of Girls Living accommodation, Ladakh Nunnery, India.
2015: Earthquake appeal, Nepal. - 2015: Basic kitchen supplies for Ladakh nunnery.
- 2016: 38 new children sponsored in various locations in Northern India using group sponsorship fundraising.
